We're seeking a Senior Receptionist to join our team in Luther Street Medical Centre who has an interest in services for homeless people.



Within this role you shall handle all contacts confidently with compassion, patience and professionalism. You should demonstrate good communication skills supporting patients, carer's, colleagues, and other professionals, be well organised with a flexible approach and you should work well as part of a team.



We encourage you to get in-touch should you have any questions about the role. During this role your working hours will work a mixture of shifts, Early 8-4 | Late 10:30 - 18:30.



This is a 12 month FTC role. Specifics will be discussed during the interview process.

Receive calls courteously:

Handle incoming calls to the Trust in a polite and helpful manner, ensuring excellent communication skills and compassionate assertiveness, especially when dealing with distressed callers



Perform general office duties:

Respond to email and phone enquiries, take and record messages accurately, and follow Trust procedures and protocols



Manage post and maintain confidentiality:

Oversee incoming and outgoing post, including signing and recording mail, medication, and other supplies, while ensuring the confidentiality and security of patient data and staff information



Coordinate patient referrals and appointments:

Liaise with clinical staff to manage and book patient referral appointments using the eReferral Service, and process requests for repeat prescriptions



Assist with emergency systems:

Support the operation of emergency systems such as bleeps, panic alarms, pagers, and fire systems



The ability to travel independently between sites within the Trust is essential for this role.
