Honing Engineer

We are looking for ideally an experienced Honing Engineer however training can be given for the right candidate.
You should be able to demonstrate:
Up to 5 years experience in Manufacturing environment of honing, ideally with cylinder liners / Cylinder Blocks
Must be able to set and operate the Honing machine
Good understanding of Engineering drawings
Maintaining high standards of documentation / product traceability
Working to tight tolerances
Used to using inspection equipment to check own work
Working with Engineers to make and suggest improvements to the manufacturing processes
Create methods of manufacture
Combined with this experience, it is essential that you possess:
A logical approach to problem solving
Ability to work to tight deadlines
This is a day shift position
Good communication
Ideal candidates will also have had exposure to / experience of:
Knowledge of working to AS9100 & ISO9001 Standards
A background in Aerospace / Automotive / Motorsport Manufacturing
