Job Summary
Hook Loader Driver Class 2
Hourly Rate 14.57 per hour.
O/T Rate After 40 hours your rate increases to 20.75 per hour.
Start Time from 6.00am to finish.
(would normally achieve 50 hours p/week).
Induction This would take place on your first day then you will be sent out with another driver for a couple of days after this you would be on your own.
The Job Entails Delivering / collecting skips / bins from client's sites and taking to waste disposal sites.
Workplace Day Starts and finishes at Loanhead, Edinburgh.
Responsibilities
Safely loading and securing goods on the vehicle.
Maintaining and conducting basic checks of their vehicle, including brake, oil or tyre checks.
Basic knowledge of computers, handheld devices and relevant electronic applications.
Logging delivery / uplift information correctly.
Able to work well independently.
Good communication skills to follow instructions, work with colleagues and deal with clients.
Skills
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients. Proven background in commercial driving with a valid driver's licence appropriate for the vehicle type. Ability to navigate efficiently between delivery locations using maps or GPS systems.
