Hours

: Average 37.5 hours per week (Seasonal Variation) - Must be available any 5 days a week, including weekends.

Role Overview:

As a Horticultural Nursery Assistant at Urban Jungle, you will be the heartbeat of our nursery, caring for a diverse range of indoor and outdoor plants and sharing your passion for horticulture with our community. This role is ideal for someone who feels a deep connection with plants and enjoys creating enriching customer experiences.

Key Duties:

Tend to indoor and outdoor plant care requirements, ensuring health and vibrancy. Provide advice and guidance to customers, enhancing their shopping experience. Participate in the maintenance and aesthetic presentation of the nursery. Assist in stock management and the upkeep of plant displays. Engage in continuous learning about horticulture to improve both personal knowledge and customer service.

Essential Qualities:

A genuine passion for plants and horticulture. Eagerness to work as part of a dedicated team to achieve Urban Jungle's mission. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire customers. Flexibility to work any 5 days a week, including weekends during our peak times. A proactive, 'get it done' attitude, embodying our core value of commitment and stewardship.
