About the role



Langford Vets is excited to offer an exciting opportunity to become our Hospital Animal Care Assistant (part-time).

We are looking for a dynamic and hard-working Animal Care Assistant to join our team at the Small Animal Referral Hospital.

This part-time role (18hours per week, Monday-Friday) offers the opportunity to work within a busy hospital setting. We are open to discussing how these hours will work for the successful candidate and the hospital.

You will primarily support the consulting rooms within the Small Animal Hospital, working to ensure they are maintained to a high level of cleanliness and infection control, and to ensure that stock levels are well- managed for the clinical demand. This role will also work to support other areas of the hospital as required.

This role gives the successful candidate an opportunity to gain an insight into the hospital whilst having defined responsibilities unique to this role.

The ideal candidate will be:

Be self-motivated and capable of working independently Show initiative and the ability to manage and plan their own workload, Work well as part of a team Be flexible, adaptable. And comfortable in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills and a professional approach
In this role you may be involved with the teaching of Veterinary and Veterinary Nursing undergraduates on clinical rotations.
