Are you an experienced Registered Nurse looking to make a significant impact in healthcare? King's Mill Hospital has an exciting opportunity for you!



As a Hospital Out of Hours Practitioner, you will play a vital role in ensuring effective safe clinical care is delivered outside of normal working hours within Kings Mill Hospital.

Key Responsibilities:

Providing strong clinical leadership within a multi-professional team.

Offering advice, support, guidance, and education to nursing and Junior medical staff.



Being a role model and expert practitioner.



Responding to critical issues, Acute response and Cardiac Arrest calls as part of the Hospital Out of Hours team.



Ensuring prompt support and effective clinical assessment/treatment.



Developing advanced assessment skills and knowledge.



Expanding professional practice in line with nursing professional codes.



Undertaking procedures like cannulations, venepuncture, ABGs, catheterisation, and 12 lead ECG recordings.



Prioritising workloads with the aid of Nerve Centre.



Undertake audits, and support improvement projects
