Morecambe Golf Club is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced

Hospitality & Events Manager

to take the lead on our clubhouse events and front-of-house hospitality. This is a hands-on, people-focused role ideal for someone who loves delivering great service, organising memorable events and creating a welcoming atmosphere for members and guests.

You'll lead the bar and hospitality team, manage our growing programme of weddings, celebrations and member events, and help us deliver a consistently high-quality experience across the clubhouse. You'll work closely with our Club Manager and Head Chef, and you'll have real ownership of hospitality standards, event delivery and customer satisfaction.

What You'll Do

Assist in the planning, promotion and delivery of weddings, celebrations of life, private functions and member events

Lead the bar and front-of-house team to provide warm, consistent customer service

Work with the Head Chef & Club Manager on menus, pricing and hospitality offerings

Manage event logistics, room layouts, pre-orders and on-the-day delivery

Create rotas and ensure the team is trained and motivated

Monitor bar performance, stock, GP and waste control

Support social media promotion of events and hospitality activity

Act as duty lead for the clubhouse when the Club Manager is away

Be a visible, friendly and welcoming presence around the clubhouse

What We're Looking For

Experience in hospitality, events or catering management

A confident communicator who enjoys working with people

Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail

Ability to lead, support and motivate a small team

Comfortable working flexibly, including evenings/weekends when required

Confidence using digital systems (training provided)
