is looking for an organised, self-motivated and proactive Hospitality Service Manager to lead the day-to-day delivery of hospitality services across two newly constructed sites in Bedfordshire. Red Kite Meadows, a care village in Steppingley due to open early 2026 and Marigold House a residential care home in Leighton buzzard.
The role will oversee the catering, housekeeping, laundry and front-of-house operations, ensuring services run smoothly, efficiently, and in line with regulatory and organisational standards.

Duties and responsibilities
Support organisational growth, development, and integration of new hospitality services within premises managed by Care is Central.
Ensure consistent delivery of reception, catering, housekeeping and laundry services that respect residents' and visitors' choices and needs.
Working in partnership Registered Managers to ensure that the services being provided are in in line with regulation and personalised.
Provide direct line management to service leads, motivating and developing teams across multiple locations. Deputising for Head of Estates & Auxiliary Services as required.
Conduct audits and implement improvement plans to ensure compliance with CQC, Food standards Agency and other statutory requirements.
Contribute to inspections and external reviews, ensuring evidence-based compliance.
Participate in the out-of-hours (on-call) rota to provide emergency support when required.
Represent the organisation positively with residents, families, visitors, regulators, and external partners.
Undertake personal professional development, keeping knowledge and skills current.
Person Specification
Proven leadership experience in hospitality, ideally within social or healthcare or luxury settings.
Proven leadership skills, with experience managing multi-disciplinary teams across different sites.
Knowledge of health and safety regulations as well as food standard regulations to ensure compliance to a high standard.
Experience in recruitment, staff supervision, rota management, and workforce planning.
Strong financial acumen, with experience managing budgets, payroll, and resources.
Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, digital) and proficiency in MS Office.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, with a proactive "can-do" approach.
Excellent customer service skills to interact with guests and service users ensuring a high-quality service is provided.
Strong partnership working skills with external agencies, professionals, and families.
Relevant qualification or willingness to achieve.
Driver with access to a vehicle (travel across sites required).
Desirable
Food Hygiene, Hospitality and catering related qualification(s)

About the Hours, Pay & Conditions:
This is a full time (40 hours) and permanent position.
Standard working hours for this role are Monday-Friday 9am-5pm.
We offer a competitive rate of salary of 39,000 - 42,000 (dependant on experience)
