We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Hospitality Manager to oversee our establishment's operations, ensuring exceptional service and a memorable experience for our guests. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality, with expertise in food preparation, culinary management, and team leadership. This role requires a proactive individual who can maintain high standards of food safety and quality while fostering a positive work environment.
Duties
Oversee daily operations of the hospitality establishment, ensuring smooth service delivery.
Manage food production processes, including preparation and cooking, to maintain quality standards.
Supervise and train staff, promoting teamwork and effective communication among team members.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in all kitchen areas.
Develop menus in collaboration with culinary staff, incorporating seasonal ingredients and guest preferences.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly, ensuring satisfaction and loyalty.
Monitor inventory levels of food and supplies, placing orders as necessary to avoid shortages.
Implement training programmes for staff on hospitality best practices and customer service excellence.
Skills
Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or restaurant industry.
Strong culinary skills with knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods.
Excellent leadership abilities to inspire and motivate team members.
Effective team management skills with the capacity to foster a collaborative work environment.
Familiarity with food safety standards and regulations to ensure compliance.
Experience in kitchen operations, including food production and serving.
Previous hotel or barista experience is advantageous but not essential.
Exceptional interpersonal skills to engage effectively with guests and staff alike.
