Key Responsibilities
Lead, train and support the hospitality team; manage rotas and staffing levels.
Plan, prepare and serve nutritious, culturally inclusive meals for hostel residents.
Oversee operations of the Beacon Cafe, including menus, pricing, stock, hygiene and customer service.
Deliver catering for meetings, events, and monthly community meals.
Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene, allergen and HACCP requirements.
Manage budgets, stock control, supplier relationships and KPIs.
Oversee vending machine operations.
About You
Significant chef experience in high?volume catering or cafe/restaurant settings.
Experience supervising staff and managing rotas.
Strong understanding of diverse dietary needs.
Confident in food safety systems, allergens and EHO requirements.
Level 3 Food Safety & Hygiene (Catering).
Budgeting and stock?control experience.
Desirable:
Experience working with vulnerable adults, vending operations, food redistribution networks, or Level 4 Food Safety.
