Stanlake Park Wine Estate is a historic vineyard in Berkshire, just 15 min down the road from Twyford Train Station. We operate a lively Wine Bar, host guide tours, and organise a range of private and corporate events, including over 90 weddings per year.
We're always looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused individuals to join our
rota team in Hospitality & Events
. This casual role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, social environment, is excited about working in both hospitality and events and has availability over the weekends.
As part of our team, you will work across a variety of settings -- from our Wine Bar and Shop to private functions, weddings, the wine bar kitchen (note: no hot food), and bar service. You'll have the flexibility to choose your own shifts, with options available in the morning, afternoon, or evening, and we operate from Tuesday to Sunday.
Responsibilities
Tasks vary depending on the area of the business, but typically include:
Preparing and serving beverages (Wine Bar and Events Bar)
Serving drinks and food at events, following timelines and service standards
Taking orders, processing sales, and handling payments (Wine Bar & Shop)
Supporting basic food preparation (Wine Bar only - no hot food)
Following instructions from senior staff and supervisors
Providing warm, attentive, and professional customer service
Clearing tables quickly and efficiently
Maintaining high standards of health, safety, and hygiene at all times
Who We Are Looking For
Friendly and engaging - Enjoys interacting with customers and creating a welcoming atmosphere.
Hardworking and proactive - Able to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
Passionate about hospitality - Previous experience is a plus, but training is provided.
Physically fit and hands-on - Comfortable lifting up to 10kg and being on their feet for long periods.
Reliable and well-presented - Punctual, professional, and a team player.
Requirements
Must be 18 or older (to legally serve alcohol).
Comfortable handling card payments and transactions.
Available to work weekends and Bank Holidays as part of the rota (not every weekend).
Right to work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available).
Previous hospitality or retail experience is an advantage.
