Hours: 30 hours, open to discussion

Salary: 12.60 per hour & 5% uplift when shift lead

Holiday entitlement: 38 days (pro rata)

The Role



An energetic and enthusiastic position about genuinely caring to deliver the best possible experience for people. You will form part of a friendly, motivated team providing a unique front of house and hospitality experience by paying attention to detail and to the needs of people.

We are looking for someone with experience to shadow the Team Leader and lead shifts and service in the absence of the Team Leader. This responsibility will include ensuring the best service to the customer, a smooth operation between FOH & Kitchen, delegate positions across a shift, and be accountable to these deliverables.

Key Duties and Responsibilities



Is multi-skilled and flexible to work across CentreStage FOH and Cafe Bar.

Relevant experience in hospitality essential.

Directly support the Team Leader, ensuring the smooth running of service in their absence.

Has a knowledge of food and beverage standards and training.

To work at pace on behalf of customers and action requests quickly, ensuring guests always receive the highest standard of customer service.

To promote a welcoming and happy atmosphere within the venue.

To take orders and serve customers with efficiency.

Handle cash, stock, and equipment in a secure manner.

Proficient IT skills for use on tills and ResDiary table booking system.

Is well-organised and can work in a systematic way.

Ability to work as part of a team with colleagues across all departments throughout CentreStage and has strong communication skills.

Be able to upsell general sales & have a knowledge of upcoming activities, performances, and events.

Must be able to commit to the hours advertised, demonstrating a flexible attitude, and able to work weekend and evenings.

Disclosure Scotland cover essential.
