Job Description
Catering Assistant
The Catering Assistant will:
Assist with the preparation of food and beverage items for special events and catering functions. Assist in the detailed cleaning of equipment and kitchen areas. Perform general kitchen duties such as cutting, preparing, cooking, and cleaning. Work with other team members to ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Work with the production manager to assist in managing and organizing food orders. Work with the production manager to assist in managing inventory. Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Skills:
Must have some food handling experience (preferably in the food service industry). Ability to work well alone and with others in a team environment. Must be able to follow directions and learn quickly. Must be car owner and able to drive due to venue locations Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for long periods of time, bend, reach overhead, push, pull, and maneuver around kitchen equipment.
Job Type: Temporary
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: 12.30-15.00 per hour
