? Salary: 19,603 rising to 20,014 per year (Full time equivalent 25,304 - 25,835 per year)
?? Contract Type: Permanent, Part Time 32 hours per week, Term Time Only 36+3 weeks per year
(Mon 8.00-15.30, Tues 8.00-15.30, Wed 8.00-15.30, Thurs 8.00-15.30, Fri 8.00-12.00)

What You'll Do

• Maintain and prepare hospitality & catering facilities used for student training and events (kitchens, dining rooms, cafes).
• Ensure equipment and stock are clean, safe, and ready for use; carry out routine maintenance / basic cleaning / setup tasks.
• Support practical delivery of hospitality and catering courses -- preparing working stations, ingredients, materials, and clearing down afterwards.
• Help set up and support college events, functions, open days -- liaising with academic staff, being proactive and organised.
• Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards at all times -- ensuring compliance with college policies and relevant regulations.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in hospitality, catering, cleaning, catering-kitchen or facilities maintenance (ideally in a commercial / educational / catering setting).
• Practical, hands-on approach to work; reliability and ability to prioritise tasks under a rota system.
• Good organisation skills, attention to detail, and awareness of hygiene & safety standards.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills -- able to work with students, staff and possibly external contractors / suppliers.
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt hours/shifts when needed; a positive, proactive attitude and willingness to collaborate as part of a team.
