Hospitality Tutor
Location: London / Field-Based
Salary: 32,000 - 35,000
Are you passionate about helping people build skills, gain confidence, and move into meaningful work? We are seeking an enthusiastic Hospitality Tutor to join our training team and support adults aspiring to develop their careers in the hospitality sector.
The successful candidate will deliver engaging, high-quality training programmes that equip learners with the skills, knowledge, and confidence needed to gain employment and progress sustainably in hospitality roles. You will design and deliver sessions aligned with GLA contract requirements while providing tailored support to learners from diverse backgrounds.
Key Responsibilities
As a Hospitality Tutor, you will:

  • Deliver accredited and non-accredited hospitality and customer service training (Level 1 & Level 2).
  • Teach groups of adult learners in both classroom and online settings.
  • Design creative, practical, and accessible learning sessions tailored to individual learner needs.
  • Identify learner needs, set SMART targets, and provide ongoing assessment and constructive feedback.
  • Support unemployed adults to gain qualifications, develop employability skills, and progress into sustainable work.
  • Accurately complete all administrative, compliance, and quality documentation required by the GLA contract.
  • Track learner progress, maintain high-quality standards, and contribute to continuous improvement.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure learners receive holistic support.
  • Promote progression opportunities within the hospitality sector and prepare learners for employment.
About You
We are looking for someone who brings energy, professionalism, and a learner-centred approach. You will be able to create a positive, inclusive, and motivating learning environment.
You should have:
  • Experience working within the hospitality sector (e.g., customer service, catering, front of house, housekeeping, food service, hotel operations).
  • Experience delivering training to adults, ideally within employability or vocational settings.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Good organisational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload.
  • Empathy, patience, and a genuine commitment to supporting learners to achieve their goals.
  • Confidence using digital tools and online learning platforms.
Qualifications
  • A hospitality-related qualification at Level 2 or above.
  • A teaching and assessing qualification (desirable).
Essential Requirements
  • Demonstrable experience in hospitality roles such as customer service, food service, or hotel operations.
  • Experience supporting unemployed individuals into training, employment, or further progression.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage workloads effectively.
  • Commitment to equality, diversity, and inclusion in learning delivery.
  • Ability to motivate and inspire learners from diverse backgrounds.
