We are looking for a full time host for the Muddlers Club Restaurant Reception.
Working Schedule:
This is a full time position with four days a week. You must be available to work Wednesday-Saturday both during the day and evenings.
The shift pattern is as follows:
10am Split shift on Wednesday
12pm split shift on Thursday
1130am-10pm with hour and half break on both Friday & Saturday.
We are closed Sunday-Tuesday. You will not be required to work on these days (inclusive of special event days such as Valentines/Mothers/Fathers day etc)
There are some exceptions to Sundays throughout the year before our annual closures.
We schedule yearly closures to allow for your paid holiday times. Throughout the year a week in January, a week at Easter, a week in July, a week at Halloween and time over the Christmas period, this is is still to set for this year 2025.
A further weeks holidays is available for your use at the discretion of the business when requested throughout the year.
Your responsibilities will include:
Dealing with all internal communication regarding customer enquiries via phone and email.
Answering incoming phone calls.
Making phone calls for dealing with general enquiries and confirmation of bookings.
Warmly welcoming guests, seating and providing the initial interaction for the guest experience in the Michelin Starred venue.
Responding to and dealing with email enquiries regarding questions and bookings enquiries.
Turning tables during service, resetting and supporting other staff throughout service.
Some waitressing ability such as drinks service may also be required.
Required work experience:
A minimum of two years experience in some form of hospitality led role. Administrative knowledge is also very much desired to fit this role.
Skills:
Ability to communicate coherently and concisely with both guests and line manager in regards to the above duties.
Friendly and welcoming demeanour is essential.
Ability to perform both individually and within a team.
Ability to communicate with colleagues and work together for obtaining the premium experience for guest relations.
Ability to coherently write & type using correct grammar with email correspondence.
Knowledge in the use of basic IT systems such as Printing/Pages/Gmail/PDF editing.
Previous experience working with internal bookings systems for restaurants/hotels etc & food and drink knowledge is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
Able to take direction and understanding the needs to guests & what the business offers.
Fluent English is essential for this position.
You must have a right to work in the united Kingdom. Ability to work in a full time capacity legally is essential.
