Sale e Pepe Mare is looking for a confident and personable Host/Hostess to join our opening team in early 2026. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations, and ensuring that every guest journey begins and ends with exceptional service. Your presence sets the tone for the restaurant, balancing professionalism with genuine warmth.

Key Responsibilities

Provide a warm and professional welcome to every guest, ensuring they feel valued from the moment they arrive. Manage bookings and walk-in enquiries with efficiency and accuracy. Coordinate table seating to support smooth service flow across the restaurant. Answer guest questions, offer information about the menu and restaurant, and handle enquiries both in person and over the phone. Maintain a polished, organised, and inviting reception area. Work closely with the Maitre'd and front-of-house team to deliver seamless guest experiences. Handle guest concerns discreetly, ensuring swift and positive resolutions.

Requirements / Skills

Previous experience as a Host/Hostess or in a guest-facing role within an upscale or high-volume hospitality environment. Exceptional interpersonal skills with a natural ability to engage guests. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Professional appearance and confident communication. Positive attitude, team spirit, and a genuine enthusiasm for hospitality.
