Set to open within The Langham, London, this marks a new chapter in the storied legacy of Sale e Pepe, the iconic Knightsbridge restaurant that has defined Italian dining in the capital since 1974 -- a fitting partnership that sees two London icons come together under one roof.


Sale e Pepe Mare will capture the sun-soaked energy, vibrant dishes, and unmistakable sense of la dolce vita. Serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, the restaurant celebrates the finest seafood while offering a sophisticated dining and bar experience inspired by the Mediterranean coast.


We are now seeking a Host / Hostess to be the first warm welcome our guests receive and the final note of Italian charm they remember. With genuine hospitality, confidence, and elegance, you will set the tone for the guest experience from the moment they arrive.

About the Role

As a Host / Hostess, you will play a vital front-of-house role in ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience. You will greet guests with poise and warmth, manage reservations, oversee the flow of service, and work closely with the management and waiting teams to support an exceptional standard of hospitality.

Requirements

Previous experience in a hostess/host or front-desk hospitality role within a premium, fast-paced environment A welcoming, professional, and engaging demeanour Strong communication skills and confident guest interaction Ability to manage bookings and handle guest seating efficiently Keen eye for detail and high personal presentation standards A genuine passion for hospitality and service excellence Ownership, accountability, and a proactive attitude Drive and ambition to grow within a leading hospitality group Proof of right to work / pre-settled or settled status in the UK
