As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring a positive dining experience. Your responsibilities will include greeting guests, managing reservations, and maintaining the flow of service in our restaurant. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about hospitality and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables. Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimise guest flow. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and wait staff to ensure smooth service. Answer phone calls with professionalism, providing information about the restaurant and taking reservations. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the front-of-house area. Provide excellent guest services by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly. Collaborate with team members to enhance the overall dining experience for guests.

Skills

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with an emphasis on phone etiquette. Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude. Excellent organisational skills to manage seating arrangements and reservations effectively. A genuine passion for guest services and enhancing the customer experience. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as required.

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
