Job description As Hot Food / Deli Counter Assistant you will work as part of the deli team to prepare high quality hot and cold deli products in our Hillview (Randalstown) store.. We have flexible opportunities for staff to work 16 - 40 hours per week. (Monday to Saturday) . Hours are from 6am to 2.45/3pm. We can discuss rota options with applicants which could include 8am or 9am starts. Applicants must be 16 years or over. No evening work required Your duties will include: \xc2\xb7 Assisting in preparing and cooking nutritious, interesting and fresh food. \xc2\xb7 Ensure food counter presentation complies with company policy \xc2\xb7 Comply with company food safety policies and legislation. \xc2\xb7 Comply with HACCP procedures. \xc2\xb7 Complete production, wastage, temperature and cleaning records \xc2\xb7 Assist in placing food orders and manage effective stock movement. \xc2\xb7 Maintain high levels of cleanliness at all times adhering to the Company\xe2\x80\x99s daily, weekly and monthly cleaning schedule. \xc2\xb7 Greet and serve customers, advise of available offerings and maintain the standards of the deli counters \xc2\xb7 Assist in preparing the counter to serve customer in a fast paced environment. \xc2\xb7 Wrap/package goods for the customer , ensuring the appropriate price is attached for payment at the till area. \xc2\xb7 Cleaning duties following our Clean As You Go procedure and daily/weekly store cleaning plan We would like you to have:

• Previous experience in deli/food service (preferred but not essential)
• Good team working skills
• Excellent customers service skills
• An interest in cooking or relevant cooking experience
• High standard of cleanliness
• Health and Hygiene Certificate (preferred but not essential)

Job Type: Permanent Salary: \xc2\xa37.86-\xc2\xa311.00 per hour Benefits:
