An exciting opportunity has arisen for an EXPERIENCED hot forge Operator to join one of the UKs award winning leading manufacturers of High-Quality Special Fasteners.

We are looking for someone with proven previous experience setting and operating Hot forges. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a high-temperature, hands-on environment where precision, safety, and teamwork are key.

The ideal candidate

Requirements

Previous experience in hot forging or similar high-temperature metalworking roles Skilled in using hand tools and industrial machinery Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Understanding forging techniques Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Physical stamina and strength for handling heavy materials Good hand-eye coordination and precision

Key Responsibilities

Operate and maintain hot forging machines, furnaces, and press equipment Heat metal to high temperatures using industrial furnaces Shape metal using pressing techniques Apply hardening and tempering methods to enhance strength and durability Inspect and test finished products to ensure quality and accuracy Follow technical drawings to produce precise components Perform routine maintenance and safety checks Maintain a clean and safe working environment Work collaboratively with team members to meet production goals Basic maths skills for measurements and calculations Commitment to health and safety procedures

Friday 7 - 3.45
