Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hot Melt Roofing Gang to join our construction team. This role involves working on roofing projects that require specialised knowledge of hot melt systems and various construction techniques. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality roofing installations, ensuring safety and durability in all tasks. Prior experience in roofing, construction, or related trades is advantageous, and a strong work ethic is essential for success in this physically demanding role.

Duties

Assist with the installation and repair of roofing systems using hot melt technology Read and interpret schematics and technical drawings to ensure accurate application of materials Operate power tools, hand tools, and fabrication equipment safely and efficiently Conduct heavy lifting of materials and equipment to facilitate roofing operations Utilise roofing-specific tools and techniques to ensure proper sealing and waterproofing Follow safety protocols diligently to maintain a secure working environment Collaborate with team members to complete projects within specified timeframes Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work site throughout the project duration

Skills

Proficiency in reading schematics and technical drawings relevant to roofing projects Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and roofing equipment Knowledge of construction principles and roofing techniques, including hot melt systems Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently in a physically demanding environment Strong understanding of safety procedures related to roofing and construction sites Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow instructions accurately Basic knowledge of schematics and technical documentation related to roofing systems
