Functional Role and Responsibilities:
Demonstrate safety awareness and leadership, coaching others to ensure safety, efficiency and compliance are maintained or improved at all times.
Maintain safety standards in accordance with company policies and statutory requirements to ensure the provision of an environment in which staff and visitors can perform their duties without detriment to themselves, the environment or company property.
Responsible for ensuring that the Hot Oiler and associated equipment is maintained & inspected in compliance with company policy and procedure.
Perform routine maintenance on Hot-oiler & all associated equipment ensuring that it is maintained & inspected in compliance with company policy and procedure.
Monitor compliance and effectiveness of all operational and maintenance documentation, proposing amendments when required.
To perform accurate monitoring and recording of all data and information associated with Hot Oiler & Operational activities, producing reports making and implementing recommendations for improvements.
Identify opportunities for improvement and establish proposals for modifications that will add value to the business.
To conduct all routine operational activities that are necessary to maintain the safe operation of the facilities whilst minimising any production downtime.
To optimise production through the adoption of the best practice and the proactive identification and resolution of problems and / or opportunities with the facilities.
To conduct fault finding investigative techniques to establish the cause of upsets to normal operations.

Oversee the control of work process ensuring that all work is performed safely and is compliant with company policy, operational procedures and practices.
Comply with the requirements of the IMS.

Responsible for ensuring operational activities are conducted in compliance with the company Major Accident Hazard (MAH) processes and procedures.
Competencies:
Qualification in Well Control is desirable
Experience in Oil & Gas Operations is desirable
Class II HGV licence is desirable
Leadership skills with an ability to work across functions and with a full range of stakeholders
Demonstrable problem solving and decision making capabilities
Ability to clearly articulate ideas, values and expectations through spoken and written methods
Ability to prioritise & innovate
Team worker with the ability to work independently
Self-motivated with an attention to detail
Other:
This role reports directly to the Lead Hot Oiler Operative and is Responsible for hot-oiling, pumping & well treatment.
The role conducts well site operations, adjusting controls and instrumentation to maintain safe and efficient operations under the direction of the Shift Lead Operator followed by ensuring safe and continued oil and gas production.
Assists the Operations Superintendent on implementing and monitoring the permit to work system.
