We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences, supervising staff, and maintaining the highest standards of service. Duties
Oversee daily operational activities, ensuring smooth functioning of the hotel or hospitality venue
Supervise and support staff, including front desk, housekeeping, and food service teams
Manage guest relations, addressing concerns promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction
Coordinate with various departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
Implement and uphold company policies, health and safety standards, and service protocols
Assist in training and mentoring new team members to maintain high service standards
Handle administrative tasks such as shift scheduling, reporting, and inventory management
Support human resources functions including recruitment, performance reviews, and disciplinary procedures when necessary
Act as the point of contact during shifts, especially during peak times or emergencies
Requirements
Proven supervising experience within the hospitality industry or hotel environment
Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams
Excellent guest service skills with a focus on delivering memorable experiences
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele and team
Previous hotel experience is preferred but not essential for highly capable candidates with relevant supervisory backgrounds
Knowledge of human resources practices and procedures
Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently
Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
A professional demeanour with excellent communication skills in English; additional languages are advantageous
