Hellidon Lakes is a modern and stylish hotel resort offering a spectacular venue for golf breaks, business events & conferences, weddings and social functions, set amongst the glorious rolling hills of the Northamptonshire & Warwickshire countryside.

The hotel comprises of 111 bedrooms, 16 Function rooms, Restaurant, 4 Resident Bars, Gym, Wellness Centre, 27 Hole Golf Course, Tennis Court and its very own 10 Pin Bowling Alley. With our bedroom refurbishment complete and our brand new Spa and Wellness centre , this is a very exciting time to join our friendly and professional team at Hellidon Lakes.

The Sales & Events Coordinator Role



We are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic, energetic and commercially minded Head Sales & Events Executive to join our team in Daventry. The ideal candidate will support the Sales Manager in achieving sales targets and providing excellent customer service whilst direct managing the Sales & Events Executives team

It is essential that you have experience working in Events & Sales for a Hotel or Conference venue.



The Sales department are responsible for driving the Venue's revenue, across all departments, through focus and diligence, using professional dedication and a touch of innovation.

Reporting to the Sales Manager, it is important that this person brings a professional work ethic, a 'can-do' attitude and an unquestionable drive to succeed.

Due to the specific nature of the role, any successful candidate will have experience working in the Corporate Hotel Sales and Events sector, preferably in a Large 100+ Bedroom Venue.

Key Responsibilities:



Respond professionally and efficiently to all sales enquiries Monitor and action all requests received via the company web site and all online channels Competently load and manage data in the central reservations system Manage a fluid pipeline of prospects Prioritse sales calls to maximise business opportunities Develop and manage core client and agency relationships Effectively utilise the social media marketing team to promote the venue Deliver new business prospect through proactive sales initiatives Engage with individuals and businesses, host open events and provide venue show rounds Report activity, prospect status and confirmed business on a weekly & monthly basis Consistently achieve personal and team targets

The Candidate Must Have:



Proven experience in a similar role within a large corporate and leisure 4 Hotel resort
Thrive in a fast paced sales environment Used to and comfortable working to targets and delivering results under pressure Proven achievements in a similar targeted sales role Experience managing a team Excellent customer service background Exemplary spoken and written English High levels of numeracy Confident and professional personality Calm and polite manner

You must have appropriate experience to be able to perform this role, as you will be joining a very busy team, and expected to make an immediate contribution
