We are currently looking for a

Hotel Housekeeper

to join us and be a part of the SCHLOSS Roxburghe Housekeeping team! This is a

permanent

,

full-time

position, working 35 hours per week, 5 days over 7. You must be available to work weekends.

We offer a

competitive salary of 12.50 per hour plus gratuities

Gratuities (tips) are an additional charge added onto services and are paid to all employees on a pro-rata basis regardless of your role. The amount is not guaranteed and is depended on service charge paid.*

As a SCHLOSS Roxburghe Hotel Housekeeper you will be responsible for cleaning of the guest rooms and bathrooms according to the hotel's luxury standards and maintaining the hotel's public areas.

Your Key Responsibilities:



To consistently ensure that all rooms and public areas are cleaned, prepared and presented to the luxury standards set out by SCHLOSS Roxburghe to ensure the best quality for our guests You will ensure that the furniture, equipment and appliances are in clean and flawless condition, well maintained To report any faults or broken items to Housekeeping management Ensure that all procedures concerning guest safety are followed including but not limited to; lost property, key control and confidentiality You will take pride in ensuring the cleanliness and hygiene of all guest areas

Your Knowledge & Capabilities:



You are enthusiastic and have a positive personality with the ability to build genuine and trusting relationships You are a brilliant multi-tasker and able to organise your time effectively You have a key eye for detail and take pride in your work You enjoy working as part of a team as much as you enjoy working independently You have excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively with people at all levels

Proven Experience/Qualifications:



Previous housekeeping experience is not essential as full training will be given Ability to communicate proficiently in English All applicants must have right to work in the UK
