Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Hotel Potter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the aesthetic appeal of our hotel by ensuring that all pottery and decorative items are well cared for and presented beautifully. This role is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests, reflecting the high standards of our establishment.

Responsibilities

Clean, polish, and maintain all pottery and decorative items throughout the hotel. Arrange pottery displays in public areas, ensuring they are visually appealing and aligned with the hotel's decor theme. Inspect pottery for damages or wear, reporting any issues to management for repair or replacement. Collaborate with the housekeeping team to ensure that all areas featuring pottery are kept tidy and presentable. Assist in the selection of new pottery pieces to enhance the hotel's aesthetic appeal. Provide guests with information about the history and significance of selected pottery pieces when requested.

Skills

Strong attention to detail to ensure all items are impeccably maintained. Good organisational skills to manage inventory and display arrangements effectively. Aesthetic sense to create visually pleasing arrangements that enhance guest experience. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team, collaborating with other hotel staff. Knowledge of pottery care techniques is advantageous but not essential; training will be provided. Excellent communication skills to engage with guests and provide information about the hotel's decor.

Pay: 22,000.00-23,000.00 per year
