Hotel Maintenance Executive

Maintenance Job Purpose:

We are hiring a maintenance worker to join our maintenance team. You will inspect different equipment and perform any basic repairs and preventative maintenance when required. To do well in this role you should have previous experience in maintenance, be highly skilled with various hand and power tools, and be able to read blueprints and repair manuals.

Responsible for the appearance and functional upkeep of buildings, locations, and offices, Positions in this industry usually involve a combination of indoor and outdoor work, Maintenance workers generally need to follow a maintenance schedule as well as complete small repairs as necessary. On-call work is sometimes required

Maintenance Job Duties:

Oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of the hotel, including preventive maintenance and repairs Coordinate with other departments to address maintenance needs and ensure minimal disruption to guests Conduct regular inspections of hotel facilities to identify maintenance issues Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards Collaborate with external contractors and vendors for specialized repairs and projects Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks Respond promptly to guest requests for maintenance assistance Conduct training sessions for maintenance staff on safety and best practices
Maintenance Skills and Requirements:

Strong technical skills in areas such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general facility maintenance Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices Familiarity with maintenance software and systems Flexibility to respond to maintenance emergencies outside regular working hours High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in maintenance or facilities management are a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to maintaining a safe and comfortable environment for guests and staff
