Windermere Manor Hotel is a 35-room Lake District hotel in gorgeous garden grounds. We are seeking a

temporary Maintenance Team Member

to oversee all aspects of maintenance at the hotel, which features a manor house, annexe cottage with rooms, swimming pool and bar and restaurant. The Maintenance Team Member will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities, delivering high standards of maintenance and safety. Initially offered on a

2-month contract

we need an individual with strong technical knowledge who can support our team from day one. The role comes with

salary of 29580 per annum pro-rata

Responsibilities:

Conduct routine inspections to identify and address maintenance needs promptly Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs for all equipment and facilities Coordinate and oversee repairs, renovations, and installations Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment necessary for maintenance tasks Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance-related issues Coordinate with the central Property Manager from the owner company Starboard Hotels

Who we're looking for:

Experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting Strong technical knowledge of building systems (HVAC, electrical, plumbing), Key skills include communication, time management, attention to detail, and knowledge of safety regulations. Proficiency in maintenance software and a strong focus on guest satisfaction are also essential. Hands-on, all round DIY skills Knowledge of building systems, equipment, and maintenance procedures Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Proficiency in prioritizing tasks and managing time efficiently Understanding of health and safety regulations
