The role



Our Hotel Managers lead on-property teams overseeing the smooth running of day-to-day operations in a hotel and managing ongoing profitability.

We are currently seeking a Hotel Manager to join our newly re-branded Best Western Sheffield City Hotel, within walking distance of Sheffield Railway Station. With the hotel in its fledgling year with the Best Western brand, this is an exciting opportunity to put your mark on a developing property, perfectly located in Sheffield city centre.

Boasting 111 bedrooms, restaurant, bar and 2 meeting rooms, this is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious Operations Manager looking for their first Hotel Manager role, or an established Hotel Manager looking for a new challenge to establish the hotel as the hotel of choice for both corporate and leisure guests.

Hotel Managers duties include:



As a Hotel Manager, you'll be an intuitive leader who will successfully run your hotel, whilst instilling trust and confidence into every member of the team.

Being an outstanding Hotel Manager means more than ensuring check-in runs smoothly and that your restaurant continues to receive rave reviews.

You aren't happy just leaving everything ticking along - you love change! It's about ensuring your team is engaged, happy and enjoying what they do while coming up with new, exciting ways to ensure your team deliver an outstanding, memorable service.

You will be proactive in driving sales, with a focus in increasing revenue in our F&B outlets.

Strong Leadership:

You are confident in leading from the front, providing direct guidance as you mould and shape your multiskilled team for future success.

Brand Experience:

You have previous experience in a branded environment, with a proven track record in supporting a team to achieve brand standards

Exceptional Communication:

You can communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, whether you're coaching your team, meeting with your Regional Manager, talking with the hotel owner or building and maintaining your network of local connections.

Financial Acumen:

You have a solid understanding of budget management and the ability to drive revenue while controlling costs.

Customer Centric:

You are dedicated to building the success of a new brand by ensuring all customers and clients receive the A-grade experience associated with the brand.

Detail-Oriented:

You have a keen eye for detail in overseeing property maintenance, health and safety and licensing compliance.

Innovative Thinker:

As a self-starter and forward-thinker, you love to take initiative.

Pay:

38,000-40,000.00 plus performance related bonus.
