Job Description
There is
no
live in accommodation is available with this position.A vacancy has arisen for a Night Porter/Late Bar Tender at Morritt Hotel, Barnard Castle. We are looking for someone with great personality, competent and flexible who is capable of working at night as part of a small team.
You will be working 3 shifts per week on a rolling rota, 10.30 om start and 7.30 am finish. This position does include lone working
Responsibilities and Duties
To be responsible for the satisfaction of all guests' needs.
To ensure safety and security of guests and to carry out regular floor and building checks paying particular attention to fire and hotel safety.
The role also involves serving guests in the bar, meeting and greeting guests, setting up conference rooms for weddings/conferences as well as other set up duties. You will also be required to support room service requirements and out of hours food and drink orders.
This is a hands on position and you are required to work as part of the Night Porter team in addition to other duties as assigned by the reporting line manager.
