About the role:

We are looking for a night owl to join our Front Office team as a Night Porter.

To be responsible for security of the whole site, including walking patrols of the building and outside areas.

To cover late night bar as required.

To prepare and deliver room service once the chef is off duty.

To cover duties of the reception desk including late check-ins and early check-outs.

In the event of an emergency situation, ensure that evacuation procedures are followed.

To complete cleaning duties across the hotel.

Maintain a positive attitude and friendly demeanor.

Respond to all guest questions and requests.

Answer and forward phone calls.

Manage guest bookings and reservations.

Keep a tidy and orderly workspace.

Assist with administrative tasks as needed.

Ideally have used OPERA but not essential

This position will include shifts working Saturday and Sunday. Additional hours may be required to support the hotel during our busier periods, including bank holidays.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Zero hours contract

Pay: 12.50 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
