We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team. The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for guests, responsible for delivering exceptional guest services and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role requires excellent communication skills, a friendly demeanour, and the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a busy hospitality environment.
Duties
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in/check-out procedures
Manage guest reservations and room allocations accurately
Respond promptly to guest inquiries via phone, email, or in person
Provide information about hotel amenities, local attractions, and services
Handle guest requests and complaints professionally, ensuring guest satisfaction
Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information
Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure room readiness
Uphold hotel policies and procedures to ensure safety and security for all guests
Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and reporting as required
Qualifications
Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is preferred but not essential
Excellent phone etiquette and communication skills
Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable to serve diverse guests effectively
Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
Ability to remain calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance
Knowledge of hospitality software or reservation systems is advantageous
A positive attitude towards delivering outstanding guest experiences
