We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Hotel Receptionist to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality and a strong understanding of customer service, hotel systems and problem solving techniques. You will be responsible for creating an inviting atmosphere, checking in guests, answering emails and being the face of Oddfellows. You're the first and last person our guests see!
Responsibilities
Check in and check out guests using our hotel accommodation system.
Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, dealing with enquiries and ensuring a pleasant stay
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area
Be a fantastic host and available to answer all types of queries
Assist Management with day to day activities
Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
Handle transactions accurately and efficiently, utilising basic maths skills for processing payments.
Create a welcoming environment that encourages repeat visits from customers.
Requirements
Previous experience in Hotel environments or a similar role within the hospitality industry is preferred but not essential
Strong knowledge of products offered through training and retention.
Excellent time management skills to handle busy periods effectively.
A commitment to providing outstanding hospitality and ensuring guest satisfaction.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and interpersonal.
