In your very important role as Receptionist, you will be required to meet and greet guests, make reservations, check rooms and show guests to them, perform general administrative tasks whilst providing a professional service at all times. Ability to think on your feet and use your initiative is a must as there is never a dull moment. A smart appearance is vital.
On occasions you may be asked to work within other departments e.g. bar and restaurant, particularly at busy times. No experience necessary as training will be given.
Whilst hospitality and reception experience is desirable, a strong background in admin is also advantageous as training will be given.
Ideally we would like someone to work 5 x 8 hour shifts a week to cover days off and busy periods. We cannot guarantee which days they will be but as a small team, we strive to accommodate preferred days off on a week to week basis
The role would suit someone who is looking for less than full time hours although there may be the opportunity to increase hours working in other departments.
