Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Hotel Receptionist to join our team at Borrowdale Gates Hotel, located in the scenic Borrowdale Valley. This role is vital in ensuring our guests receive outstanding service and support throughout their stay.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests upon arrival, ensuring a warm and friendly atmosphere. Manage check-in and check-out processes efficiently. Handle guest inquiries and provide information about hotel services and local attractions. Maintain accurate records of reservations and guest information. Assist with phone calls and reservations, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette. Collaborate with housekeeping and other departments to ensure guest satisfaction. Resolve any guest complaints or issues promptly and professionally. Uphold the hotel's standards of hospitality at all times.

Qualifications

Proven experience in hotel reception or customer service roles. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written. Multilingual or bilingual capabilities are highly desirable. Proficiency in phone etiquette and handling inquiries professionally. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment. A passion for hospitality and providing exceptional guest experiences. Familiarity with hotel property management systems (PMS) and reservation software (Rezlynx)
