Guest Service Agent - The Laslett Hotel



As The Laslett's Guest Service Agent, you will look after our guests every need and whim, creating memorable moments for our guests and managing the guest journey here at the hotel. Ensuring repeat business from our guests who want a home from home environment with attention to detail and a slick service. You'll work in a modern, chic 51 bedroom converted Victorian building. where professional development is nurtured, and great service is rewarded.

Job requirements



Current/previous experience in a similar role within a busy hotel environment Positive and can-do attitude to work in a supportive and structured environment Excellent guest service skills with a background of exceeding and maintaining the guests' expectations Cross training in Food and Beverage will be provided, to assist the operations as and when required Have a good command of the English language both written and spoken (an additional European language would be an advantage) Be well groomed and well presented Ensure effective communication within and between departments, previous Opera/ Micros preferred To actively achieve the Revenue sales and upsell targets

Main tasks and responsibilities



Ensure the highest standard of guest care is maintained at all times Welcome our guests in a friendly and professional way Ensure that the front of house and public areas are well maintained at all times Deal with booking inquiries, manage check-ins and check-outs of our guests and process payment and billing inquiries Provide our guests with recommendations and assist with concierge related tasks Addressing and escalating guest complaints if required Assist in the daily operations at reception and all relevant tasks As required assist Duty Manager and report all operational key information to ensure a smooth operation of the accommodation and guest service functions Assist in maximizing rooms occupancy and both accommodation and F&B revenue Liaise with other departments on all relevant matters to ensure swift guest service orientated solutions of highest possible standards are made To check daily arrivals and ensure rooms are allocated correctly considering our guests' preferences and special requirements
