Hotel/Restaurant Host Required

Part time host required.

The host is the first impression and last impression for The Priory.

Dealing with leisure guests, corporate and customers dining in our amazing restaurant with a positive and welcoming attitude.

The successful candidate, during their shift will be in charge of ;

Taking reservations for both accommodation and for the restaurant.

Checking guests in and out.

Dealing with billing and invoicing.

Assisting guests with any needs or requirements they may have.

Candidates must have;

Hotel or reception experience

Great customer service skills

Knowledge of how a restaurant/hotel operates

Be computer literate

Work well under pressure.

Be available to work week days, weekends, mornings , afternoons and evenings.

Favourable skills;

Knowledge of online booking systems such as Resdiary and Reslynx.

Previous experience in front of house within a hotel/restaurant.

The Priory is nestled within the historic town of Caerleon on the River Usk. Dating back to 1180 and starting life as a Cistercian Monastery, it later became a Nunnery, private residence and since 1996, this beautiful building and its secluded grounds have been home to The Priory Hotel and Restaurant. Job Type: Temp to perm
Contract length: 3 months

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
