An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Early Years Lecturer to join our Early Years team reporting to our Curriculum Manager of Health, Early Years, Access and Distance Learning. As an Early Years Lecturer with Redcar and Cleveland College you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and delivering engaging lessons to a high standard, ensuring that students receive the best possible learning experience. You will design schemes of work, produce high-quality learning materials and assignments, and provide constructive feedback through both formative and summative assessments. Supporting students will be at the heart of your role, whether through acting as a personal tutor, offering educational advice and guidance, or monitoring their progress through individual learning plans. You will also contribute to the wider success of the programme by assisting with student recruitment and marketing activities, supervising placements and educational visits, and working closely with colleagues and employers to review and develop the curriculum. In addition, you will take an active role in team meetings, professional development, and the evaluation of teaching and learning to ensure our Early Years provision continues to deliver outstanding results.
