Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper and kitchen porter to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming and hygienic environment for all guests. This position requires a strong commitment to hospitality and an eye for detail, as well as experience in food preparation and kitchen operations.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities to ensure high standards of cleanliness are met. Assist with food preparation and cooking as needed, adhering to safety and hygiene regulations. Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs to management. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless service during meal times, including serving meals when required. Uphold the highest standards of hospitality by providing exceptional service to guests. Ensure all equipment is properly cleaned and maintained after use. Follow health and safety guidelines at all times to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred, particularly within hotels or restaurants. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation and cooking are highly desirable. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on providing excellent customer service. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays, as required.
