Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and an eye for detail, as well as the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Duties

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness and hygiene are maintained. Replace linens, towels, and other amenities as required, ensuring all items are in good condition. Conduct regular inspections of rooms and public areas to identify maintenance needs or safety hazards. Respond promptly to guest requests for additional services or supplies, demonstrating excellent customer service skills. Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, folding, and ironing linens and uniforms. Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs to management. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure smooth operations within the establishment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests and colleagues. Experience in a hotel environment is advantageous but not mandatory. Basic cooking skills would be beneficial for assisting with meal preparations if required. Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
