Job Summary:

We're recruiting for motivated Housekeepers to come and join our friendly team.

The Abbotsford Hotel Ayr, with beautifully designed new bedrooms and bathrooms The hotel itself is 14 rooms with 2 large suites and has been an iconic hotel in Ayr for generations.

From cleaning and making up the bedrooms and bathrooms to cleaning communal areas, as a housekeeper you will play an integral part to giving the guests that lasting impression of the Abbotsford Hotel and our great service.

What we are looking for:

We are seeking a dedicated Housekeeper to join our team to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and orderliness within our establishment We are looking for trustworthy, self-motivated individuals who take pride in their work and really want to make a difference to our guests stays. You will be detail oriented, working to a high standard. You will have confidence in talking to guests and other staff members/managers.

Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given.

Responsibilities:

Clean and tidy designated areas including bedrooms, bathrooms, and common areas Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing furniture Changing bed linens and ensuring rooms are well-stocked with amenities Sorting of laundry Replenishing cleaning supplies and toiletries Reporting any maintenance issues to the relevant department Adhering to health and safety regulations

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a Housekeeper or similar role Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies Attention to detail and thoroughness in work Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision Background in hotel housekeeping preferred
