Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and order within our facilities, ensuring that all areas are welcoming and well-presented. This position requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning duties including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitising surfaces. Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, common areas, and restrooms. Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and report any maintenance issues to management. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries and requests promptly. Assist with cooking and meal preparation as needed. Follow health and safety regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff. Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations.

Experience

Previous experience in janitorial or commercial cleaning is preferred. Experience in a hotel environment is advantageous but not essential. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with guests and colleagues. Cooking skills are a plus, contributing to meal preparation when required. A proactive attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
