Devonshire House in Sudbury are seeking a reliable and compassionate Housekeeper to join their care home team on a bank basis. As a key member of support staff, you'll help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. This flexible role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety and wants to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms, and staff facilities to a high standard Follow infection control procedures and health & safety guidelines Handle laundry duties including washing, drying, ironing, and distribution Replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues Respect residents' privacy, dignity, and personal space at all times Work collaboratively with care and maintenance teams to ensure a smooth-running home

About You:

Previous housekeeping or cleaning experience (preferably in a care or healthcare setting) Understanding of infection control and COSHH regulations Friendly, approachable, and committed to high standards Able to work independently and as part of a team

Devonshire House in Sudbury is home to well trained and helpful staff with rooms for up to 68 residents.
