Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team at Lartington Hall. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong commitment to quality service and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities, ensuring high standards of cleanliness are maintained. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors, ensuring all surfaces are clean and presentable. Replenish supplies in guest rooms and public areas as necessary. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns in a friendly manner. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure efficient operations within the establishment.

Qualifications

Previous experience in commercial cleaning or housekeeping preferred. Familiarity with hotel operations is advantageous. Strong customer service skills with the ability to interact positively with guests. Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Flexibility to work various shifts including weekends and holidays if required. Basic cooking skills would be beneficial but not essential.
