Live-Out Housekeeper

LOCATION: Bristol / Bath area, United Kingdom

HOURS: Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 4:00 pm

Responsibilities

Perform general cleaning and housekeeping duties to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and tidiness are maintained throughout the estate. Carefully handle and clean luxury items, including marble surfaces, antiques, and delicate clothing, following specific guidelines and procedures. Maintain the laundry and ensure proper care is taken when handling and laundering different fabrics and materials. Collaborate closely with the housekeeping team to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless execution of daily duties. Assist with inventory management, including monitoring stock levels of cleaning supplies and reporting any shortages or requirements. Adhere to established health and safety guidelines and best practices to ensure a safe working environment. Uphold the privacy and confidentiality of the estate's occupants, exercising discretion at all times. Occasionally assist with other household tasks or special projects as required.

Requirements

Proven experience in a similar housekeeping role, preferably within a luxury residential or hospitality environment. Strong knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and materials, especially for delicate and luxury items. Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively and meet deadlines. High level of attention to detail and commitment to maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene. Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team, demonstrating a cooperative and supportive attitude. Professional and friendly demeanour, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated reliability and trustworthiness, with a consistent record of attendance and punctuality. Valid driving license and a reliable vehicle for commuting to the estate due to its location. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and respecting the privacy of all individuals associated with the estate.
