Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring that all areas are hygienic and welcoming. This role is essential in providing a pleasant environment for guests and staff alike, contributing to overall satisfaction and comfort.

Responsibilities

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to the highest standards. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Dust, vacuum, and mop floors to maintain cleanliness throughout the premises. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly. Ensure that cleaning supplies are stocked and well-organised. Follow health and safety guidelines while performing cleaning duties. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing guest requests or concerns with professionalism.

Experience

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or commercial cleaning is preferred. Familiarity with cleaning products, techniques, and equipment is desirable. Experience in a customer service role is an advantage, as it enhances guest interaction skills. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. A background in cooking is a plus but not essential.
