Are you passionate about cleanliness and take pride in delivering high standards? The Gwbert Hotel, a beautifully renovated 29-bedroom hotel overlooking Cardigan Bay, is looking for dedicated and reliable Housekeepers to join our team.
About the Role:
As a Housekeeper, you'll play a vital part in ensuring our guests enjoy a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. You'll be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our bedrooms, bathrooms, and public areas, including our reception, corridors, lounge, and dining spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare guest bedrooms and bathrooms to a high standard
Ensure public areas are clean, tidy, and presentable at all times
Replenish linen, towels, toiletries, and other amenities as needed
Report maintenance issues promptly to the relevant department
Comply with health and safety regulations and hotel policies
What We're Looking For:
Previous housekeeping experience is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided
Excellent attention to detail
A positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team
Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently
Flexibility to work weekends and public holidays as required
Please Note:
Hourly rate may vary depending on age and previous experience, in line with National Minimum Wage guidance.
