Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Hotel Housekeeper to join our hospitality team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for providing exceptional service in the hospitality industry.

Duties

Clean and sanitise guest rooms, bathrooms, and common areas according to hotel standards. Change bed linens, towels, and other amenities as required. Restock supplies such as toiletries and refreshments in guest rooms. Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the management promptly. Ensure all cleaning equipment is used safely and maintained properly. Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, and folding linens. Maintain a high level of cleanliness in all areas of the hotel to enhance guest satisfaction. Follow established procedures for handling lost and found items.

Skills

Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or hospitality is preferred but not essential. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively. Good communication skills to interact positively with guests and team members. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. A friendly disposition with a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
