Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Nursery Housekeeper to work all year, starting as soon as possible.

You will have strong people skills with an ability to develop excellent working relationships having the ability to adapt to any situation, with a real passion for delivering excellent service.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday 9am until 5pm.

Main duties:

Preparing, cooking and serving Tea

Ordering Nursery food for breakfasts, snacks, teas & baking sessions, weekly

Cleaning and washing up on daily basis

Checking planning for activities and order accordingly

Setting up exciting environments for the children

Prepare resources for the next weeks planning

Swapping and checking equipment

Stock taking janitorial and resource items and ordering when needed

Replenishing the trays in the cloakroom where necessary

Checking gloves, hats & wellies are in good order and clean

Check 1st Aid equipment

Daily/Weekly/Monthly paperwork in the Kitchen

Kitchen deep cleans

Nursery washing/drying

General cleaning duties

Getting ready for Family Gatherings

Liaising with the Office

To attend in-service training courses and meetings as required.

To undertake any other reasonable duties as directed by the Business Manager, in accordance with the pre-school business plan/objectives.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 12.25 per hour
